It's only natural to honor Mother Earth by making sure you are taking care of your furriest friends. And we've rounded up just the products to help you do it! Here are a few of our favorite ecofriendly pet products and companies.

Available in two sizes, this dog toy, ahas far more going for it than just its environmental friendliness. It's super durable — in fact, we've seen that for ourselves! — plus, it floats, flies through the air easily when the "legs" are twisted, and, when the "legs" are untwisted, it even acts as a treat toy.
West Paw Design's Tizzi Dog Toy is available in two sizes and four colors. $10–$16, West Paw Design.
The company's tagline is "Designed for Pets, People & Planet," and that's not just lip service. P.L.A.Y.'s designer pet beds are made from natural and recycled materials — in fact, 108 recycled bottles are used in each of their extra-large lounge beds. But that's not all: Everything from the actual material for the beds to the labels to the packaging is done with Mother Earth in mind.
The Serengeti bed is one of many offered by the company, and comes in two colors, three sizes, and can be purchased as a bed and cover, or cover only. $45–$179, P.L.A.Y.

Imperial Cat has been manufacturing all-natural, ecofriendly cat products for 25 years, and their Scratch 'n Shapes cat scratchers are no exception — they're made of 100 percent recycled materials and are 100 percent recyclable. The honeycomb texture of the corrugated cardboard scratchers feels like natural tree bark to your kitty, and the wide variety of designs and shapes means you're sure to find one that suits your sense of style. Plus, each one comes with a bonus bag of certified organic catnip.
Imperial Cat's Scratch 'n Shapes cat scratchers are available in a plethora of designs at a wide variety of retailers. Find one near you.

It's always nice when an ecofriendly product is also both stylish and functional, and that's certainly the case with Dublin Dog's eco-Lucks line of leashes and collars. The fabric is made from 100 percent postconsumer recycled bottles — that means that 2.5 bottles are kept out of our landfills with every leash sold. Besides offering a delightful array of patterns (particularly in the collars), Dublin Dog also has a great Re-Focus program to help homeless dogs (by regifting old collars) and the environment (by making recycling simple for customers).
Eco-Lucks Collars, $24–$28, and Leashes, $25, at Dublin Dog.

Planet Dog is truly at the head of the pack when it comes to being a socially responsible, values-based design house. The company regularly gives back financially to causes in need (more than $500,000 in cash and product has been donated since 2006, and 2 percent of all Planet Dog products is donated to the Planet Dog Foundation) and places a big focus on educating dog owners about all kinds of canine issues. In terms of the products themselves, well, they're as environmentally responsible as you would imagine. All the Orbee-Tuff toys are 100 percent recyclable, and all postproduction material is reused and made into other toys. Additionally, Planet Dog offers an array of other ecofriendly products, including hemp leashes and collars.
The Orbee-Tuff Artichoke toy, $12.95, would be right at home next to your locally grown organic heirloom tomatoes from the farmers market — just don't mix them up! And don't miss the new Orbee-Tuff Glow for Good Bone, $11.95, at Planet Dog.
Credit: Catty Stacks
Like many of our other Earth Day products, Catty Stacks Cat Condos are made of recycled and recyclable materials, and use vegetable-based inks, reusable hardware and minimal packaging. So, yeah, they're definitely ecofriendly. They're also lightweight (but still strong and durable enough for cats up to 20 pounds) and easy to configure in whatever way works best for your space. And they're super stylish, whether you choose to use them as an artistic canvas or leave them just the way they are.
Catty Stacks are available in five colors. $10.99–$14.99, Catty Stacks.
They're cute and cuddly, sure, but green-thinking pet owners will love these even more because the Petmate Eco-friendly Plush toys are made of all-natural wool and recycled PET filling — not to mention their minimal packaging and recycled hang tags. Even better, these toys are machine washable and, as you'll see below, totally affordable. You, your dog and the environment all win!
The Eco-friendly Plush line offers a variety of styles (including an adorable elephant, rabbit, bear, hippo and puppy) and comes in two sizes. $5.99–$11.99, in Petco stores.
