10. Beefy

Beefy is 11, and his owner says he's just a regular ole chunky house cat. But we think this photo of Beefy is exceptional. The detail in his bright eyes and the lighting around him make for one beautiful kitty portrait.

9. Rowdy

What a sad little face. Poor Rowdy, a McNab Collie rescue puppy, looks like he could use a hug. We love this pic: The natural light is really nice and his floppy ears are adorable.

8. Olivia and Sophia

Olivia and Sophia are mixed Calico and Siamese, and, believe it or not, these 1-year-olds are sisters. We love how close the two are cuddling and yet how remarkably different they look. Both are beauties.

7. Kelsie

Kelsie is a 1-year-old Terrier mix and a little white puff ball. She has such a happy face, and we think she looks a bit like she's smiling.

This picture of Benny, a 5-year-old Beagle, is very well done. It’s nicely composed and the light is great, not to mention that Benny is obviously very easy-going.

We just love this picture of 18-year-old Tyke and snapped it up as soon as it was posted. This Chinese Crested Powerderpuff has such a sweet face, and his tongue made us laugh.

We can’t pass up a fluffy kitten, and Baby Moe, a 12-week-old Maine Coon, is no exception. Would you just look at that white mane and those big, pointy ears?

We couldn't resist this dynamic duo. Not only are they beautiful dogs, but they are pals who don't mind sharing a stick with each other. Keep up the kindness, guys.

Leupold Thunderpaws (a.k.a. Leo) is a 5-year-old Chocolate Lynx Point Himalayan. We fell for his angry face, but we love his name, too.

And the No. 1 Cute Pet of the Week is... Abbie Rose! The precious 8-month-old is a Mixed Breed rescue puppy. She has the sweetest little nose and poses so nicely on the pillow. Thanks, Abbie Rose, for being our Cute Pet of the Week.
