John Benton's wife would've bled to death if not for the couple's heroic
dog, Titan. Last July, Benton was heading to work when the normally well-behaved Titan wouldn't allow him to leave his home,
CBS Atlanta reports. He followed the Pit Bull upstairs and discovered his wife, Gloria, had fallen and was bleeding from her head. As it turned out, Gloria had suffered a brain aneurysm and a fractured skull.
Thanks to her amazing pup, Gloria has recovered from the incident. For his life-saving behavior, Titan earned a well-deserved medal from the local sheriff's office.
