How to Protect Your Household From Rabies

Some animals are at a bigger risk of contracting rabies than others.
The American Veterinary Medical Association reports that cats have a higher incidence of rabies than dogs, while horses and ferrets have less chance of being rabid than either dogs or cats. Talk to your veterinarian about vaccinating all -- for the health of your entire family, two- and four-legged both.
