Best Friends Animal Society has launched a series of attention-grabbing ads featuring voice overs by "NCIS: LA" actress Linda Hunt (featured in the videos below), and "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet.

The ads combine scenes of burgeoning sexuality in young adults with the reminder of the important of spaying and neutering pets when they are 4 months old.

"We felt it was important to present the messaging in an attention getting way that didn't make people feel guilty or sad," Amber Ayers, the Utah-based group’s senior marketing and creative manager, told ABC News. "When we looked at the research, most people planned on spaying or neutering their pets, but there was just a lot of confusion about when to do so and this leads to the 'oops' litter. "

The group is hoping to limit unwanted litters by giving pet owners a more specific idea of when to spay or neuter their pets. The funny spots end with the tag line, “Help prevent more. Fix at month four.”
