When you live with six other individuals, getting some alone time can sometimes be a challenge. Thankfully, the troop of Western lowland gorillas at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago have kept a respectful distance from a fellow gorilla named Bana and her new baby, despite their curiosity.

The adorable little ape arrived on October 11, and so far, Mama is taking great care of her tiny charge.

"Bana and the baby are showing all the signs of a happy, healthy mom-and-baby pair," says Curator of Primates Maureen Leahy.
