Baby Kalabatu’s mother was killed in the forests of Malaysia, leaving the little orangutan orphaned and alone. Thankfully, the adorable youngster was found and taken to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center in Borneo, Malaysia, where she’s receiving plenty of love and care. While Kalabatu looks absolutely precious wrapped in a towel, many other orangutans in Malaysia aren’t as lucky. Too many of these endangered apes are orphaned each year, due to loggers destroying the forests they live in. Hopefully more orangutans will get the same TLC as Kalabatu here!
