Dairy Cows in Ohio Slumber On Waterbeds
Mooove over, grassy field. Some cows in Ohio have found a new, more luxurious place to rest their weary limbs: waterbeds.
A dairy farm owner in Wellington bought $300 waterbeds for his 200 cows. Dave Conrad told Cleveland's WJW-TV that he believes the clean, low maintenance rubber mattresses take pressure off the animals' bodies. "In the past five or six months, our milk quality has gone up quite a bit," he told the station.
