Funny Video Asks for Bronx Zoo Funding

The Bronx Zoo might be facing a 58 percent budget cut, but the staff there hasn't lost its sense of humor.

City Hall has proposed that the Bronx Zoo and the New York Aquarium receive $3.4 million next year, down from the $8.2 million it got this fiscal year. In an effort to prevent the slash to the organizations' budgets, the zoo put together a funny new video encouraging New Yorkers to sign a petition to restore normal funding of the Bronx Zoo and the New York Aquarium.

And, well, it's not just the staff asking for your help. As you'll see in the video, curators presented pygmy marmosets with two donated iPads. The zookeepers thought the monkeys would, well, monkey around with drawing and painting apps. But what they did next stunned everyone...
