New Reality Show Trains Rescued Dogs Into Perfect Pets

Finally, some reality TV that we can actually feel good about watching. A new CBS show called Lucky Dog follows trainer Brandon McMillan as he takes on the education of some "unadoptable" shelter animals.

Each episode of the series — which airs on Saturday mornings — features the story of one canine who is plucked from a shelter, cleaned up and brought to the Lucky Dog Ranch in California. You can see what happens during Tibetan Terrier Willie's visit to the ranch in the video below.

Once at the ranch, McMillan teaches seven basic commands — sit, stay, down, come, off, heel and no — and prepares the dog to be placed in his new forever home.

If this isn't a great way to start off our Saturday mornings, we don't know what is!
