Couple Weds at Westminster — With a Tibetan Mastiff in Tow

A couple from Seattle got married on Tuesday night at Westminster. Not the Abbey. The nation’s biggest dog show. While Madison Square Garden was filled with the royalty of the canine world, Debbie Parsons and Brad Slayton used the scene as the backdrop for their Valentine’s Day nuptials.

Their Tibetan Mastiff, Major, sealed the deal, getting a kiss from both the bride and groom. His wedding gift to the happy couple? Major won Best of Breed and he was in the Working group’s final cut. Singer Shakira Has a Close Encounter With a Sea Lion

"Suddenly, one of them jumped out of the water so fast and impetuously that it got about one foot away from me, looked me in the eye, roared in fury and tried to bite me," Shakira wrote on Facebook of her run-in with a sea lion while on a tour in Cape Town, South Africa.
