Researchers Uncover That Bears Can “Count”

Scientists trained three black bears to distinguish between groups of dots on a touchscreen computer — two bears learned to pick the group with fewer dots, and the third bear learned to choose the group with more dots. Pilot Reaches Record: 1,000th Animal Rescue

Dogs, cats, pigs, pythons . . . Jeff Bennett isn’t picky about who comes aboard his plane. In conjunction with the South Carolina-based Pilots N Paws program, the Florida Keys resident transports animals to a better life.
