Warm Winter Confuses Hibernating Animals

Humans are not the only ones wondering why this winter has been so mild. Rather than sleeping in their dens until March, black bears may feel the warmth and decide to venture out for food in the next few weeks, a wildlife specialist from Cornell University told Fox News. The winter warmth may also lead to a record deer population, with many more than usual surviving the winter months. When famed dog trainer Cesar Millan, the ‘Dog Whisperer,’ visits Columbus, Ohio, for a live demonstration, he’ll be met by fans — and some howling protesters. Some local trainers and owners are opposed to Millan’s methods, arguing that his use of “intimidation and force” is outdated.
