Rylo the Pug Named Most Photogenic Pet in U.K.

Rylo the Pug, the most photogenic pet

Prince George Alexander Louis wasn’t the only one to be crowned with an important title across the pond this week.

Meet Rylo, a brindle Pug mix who’s been named the United Kingdom’s most photogenic pet. The adorable little guy topped 25 other finalists in a competition run by photography company Venture, reported the Daily Mail.

The pup’s owners, Craig Howlett-Wright and David Birks, were thrilled that the judges saw the same thing in Rylo that they did.

“He means such a lot to us so for the judges to choose him for the title is incredible,” said Howlett-Wright. “The photographer really captured his personality during our shoot.”

According to Rylo’s Facebook page, the pup is about 7 months old, and is 7/8 Pug and 1/8 Boston Terrier. He was adopted as a puppy and is now the “heart of his home.”

In addition to fame, Rylo will get a year’s supply of dog food, vouchers and $770 for his owners to spend on a “pawtrait” session, so they can line the walls of their home with pictures of that sweet little face!

And here’s our favorite part: Venture is donating £1 (about $1.54) for each entry in the competition to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Park Bench.
