There's no denying that the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers put on a great show last night. And, of course, so did Beyoncé. But we all know it's the commercials that really make the Super Bowl viewing experience.
So in case you got up to chat with friends or hit the snack table during the commercial breaks and missed a great ad, we've rounded up our five favorites starring animals.
We're not sure about you, but everyone at our party was completely in tears after this heartwarming ad. We always love the Budweiser Clydesdales, but... the adorable foal? The Fleetwood Mac music? The unlikely reunion? We didn't stand a chance.
Whew! This Skechers ad really had us worried for the young gazelle. Fortunately, some guy with pretty cool kicks comes to its rescue. We hope that guy would have our backs if we were being chased by a cheetah!
What a dynamic duo: Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory and a Chihuahua who really knows how to rock the purple. Combine that with Skee-Lo's nineties hit "I Wish," and you've got a stellar Super Bowl commercial. The talking squirrels don't hurt either.
Ah, the risks of owning a goat who loves chips. We're not sure it stacks up to last year's commercial starring Huff the Great Dane (which won its creators $1 million), but Doritos nails it every year.
Talk about drama! Nothing makes a car commercial like the tale of a mother's love. We're pretty sure that wasn't actually a baby wolf in the ad (perhaps a Husky puppy?), but we still appreciate the intent.
