Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. There’s a new set of Grevy’s zebra stripes at the Denver Zoo.

Born on June 13, the female foal started exploring her new home with mom Topaz and the rest of her herd less than a day later.

The not-yet-named baby is never far from her mom, say zoo officials, as Topaz shepherds her newborn around their yard.

This is the third foal for Topaz and her breeding partner, Punda.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature estimates there are fewer than 2,000 Grevy’s zebras left in the wild population.
