Toddler Falls Into Cheetah Exhibit at Cleveland Zoo

The parents of a 2-year-old boy who fell into a cheetah exhibit at the Cleveland Metropark Zoo Saturday afternoon could face charges. The boy’s legs were injured after he dropped 10 to 12 feet into the exhibit. "Unfortunately, we have a number of eyewitness accounts that point to the strong likelihood that the child was dangled over the rail," said Dr. Christopher Kuhar, the zoo’s executive director. The boy’s parents quickly went into the exhibit to get him, and the cheetahs never tried to interact with either of them. Cleveland Metroparks, which manages the zoo, reportedly plans to push for child endangerment charges against the parents. — Read it at CNN
