These days, his little brother Xiao Liwu still gets most of the attention. (Including his 1st birthday celebration just a week earlier.) But on Yun Zi’s 4th birthday in August, all eyes at the San Diego Zoo were on him.
Yun Zi, who was the fifth cub born to mom Bai Yun, got to indulge in a 4-foot-tall ice cake filled with some of his favorite things — including apples and yams. The elaborate creation took a month for the zoo’s staff to make. But it didn’t take this panda anywhere near that long to enjoy it!
