Urine Dilution:Increases urine volume to help reduce the urinary saturation of struvite
Magnesium Control:Moderately restricted magnesium levels to help prevent struvite urolithiasis
NOTES:
- For urethral plugs and crystalluria: feed ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Diet ® feline DISSOLUTION FORMULA™ for 3 to 4 weeks or until struvite urinary crystals are no longer significant (< 3-5 crystals per HPF with no aggregate clumps)
- For pure struvite uroliths: feed ROYAL CANIN Veterinary Diet ® feline DISSOLUTION FORMULA™ for one month beyond radiographic dissolution of urolith
