Dr. Kelly Barnes

Ever since a little girl, Dr. Barnes has always wanted to be a veterinarian. She had numerous pets growing up and pursued her dream by going to Iowa State University and graduating in 1988. She immediately took a position in Indianapolis in the summer of 1988 and has been in the city ever since. She practiced in a general veterinary hospital for 6 years, then was an emergency/critical care veterinarian for 9 years. She has been at 30th Street Animal Hospital since 2003. She is married and has 3 children - an 18 year old daughter and 16 year old boy/girl twins. She currently has 6 pets - 2 dogs and 4 cats. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and researching her family tree.
