Megan Oelstrom, DVMVeterinarian In Charge
Dr. Megan Oelstrom has been the Veterinarian in Charge at Anicira Veterinary Center since October 2013. Previously, she worked as a shelter veterinarian and surgeon in Wisconsin. Megan received a BA in biology from the University of Virginia in 2005 and earned a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
She has exhibited a passion for surgery and helping animals in need since veterinary school. Robyn O’Kane, DVM, PhD, MBAAssociate Veterinarian
Dr. Robyn O’Kane joined the Anicira team in September 2015 after moving from Colorado. She received her BS in Animal Bioscience from Penn State University, a PhD in Physiology from the Chicago Medical School, and her MBA and DVM from Colorado State University.
Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Robyn taught Anatomy and Physiology to nursing students in Queens, NY, enjoying the diversity of the students and their learning styles. However, her love of animals finally trumped her love of teaching. Her personal mission is to help keep pets in their homes in order to reduce the relinquishment and euthanasia rates at overburdened shelters.
She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture, cold-laser therapy, medical massage, and has completed all training in veterinary chiropractic medicine. Robyn lives in Rixeyville with her rescue animals: 3 dogs, 2 goats, 2 bunnies, and 10 cats. Show More
