We are conveniently located to service your pet's needs near these communities: Lewisville, Highland Village, Flower Mound, Copper Canyon, Argyle, Lantana and Denton. Our location is easy to find. We are located at 2810 Justin Rd. The hospital provides services ranging from routine health check-ups and vaccinations to surgery, dentistry and boarding.

L. Austin Strauch, DVM, Practice Co-OwnerDr. Strauch graduated from Texas A & M University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1975. After graduation, he relocated to Dallas to join the animal health care field. In May 1984, he opened a veterinary hospital in the Highland Village area and continued to practice at that until the opening of Animal Medical Center in June 2002. He has practiced small animal medicine in Highland Village for the past 27 years and continues to greatly enjoy working with pet owners to meet their pet health needs. Show More

Paul J. McCullough, DVM, Practice Co-OwnerDr. McCullough graduated from Texas A & M University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. After graduation, he practiced in Plano for 5 years with a multi-clinic group practice. He left Plano in 1991 to open a practice in Highland Village and remained at that location until the opening of Animal Medical Center in June 2002. Dr. McCullough loves people and their pets and the ever changing world of veterinary medicine and surgery. Show More

Lorien Schoelkopf, DVM, MS, Associate VeterinarianDr. Schoelkopf was raised in the DFW Metroplex. Following her graduation from the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson in 2002 with a BS in Biology, she attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Veterinary Parasitology in 2004, and published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of tick-borne diseases.
Dr. Schoelkopf continued her education at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University, graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Schoelkopf joined the practice after working in Dallas and Plano for almost a year. When not at work, she is an avid bookworm, and also enjoys time spent with family and friends, or simply relaxing with her beagle, Ross. Show More
