Dr. Brandon Pinson

Dr. Brandon Pinson is a 2010 graduate of University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine with a degree in large and small animal medicine. While there he served as President of the Christian Veterinary Fellowship and the Veterinary Business Management Association. He was also a Senator for the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association and a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. He received the Phi Zeta Student Leadership and Outreach Award. A native of Forsyth County, he grew up on a beef and poultry farm in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and was a 2001 honor graduate of North Forsyth High School. Dr. Pinson graduated cum laude from North Georgia College and State University in 2005. He is married to Cherish Pinson. They have 4 dogs: a Yellow Lab, a German Shorthair Pointer-Lab mix, a Pug, and a Mutt, as well as 3 cats. Dr. Pinson is passionate about practicing high quality mixed animal medicine and surgery. He is a member of the Forsyth-Monroe Country Kiwanis Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Cattlemen's Association, and Chrisitian Veterinary Missions.

Dr. Kevin Smith

Dr. Kevin Smith has been practicing in Forsyth for over 20 years. Dr. Smith is a 1989 graduate of University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. A native of Jones County, he was salutatorian of his high school class in 1981. Dr. Smith graduated cum laude from Mercer University in 1985. He is married to Katrina Smith, who is a retired 2nd grade teacher. They have two children, Kyle, a student at UGA, and Kasey, a junior at Georgia College and State University. Dr. Smith practices small animal medicine and surgery with a honest, compassionate and common sense approach. He has two dogs, an English Bulldog and a Yorkie, and two cats.

Dr. Smith is an avid member of First Baptist Church of Forsyth and the Forsyth-Monroe County Kiwanis Club.

Cherish is the wife of Dr. Brandon Pinson. She graduated from the University of Georgia with an Associate of Arts in Business Management and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in Fashion Merchandising and Design with honors in 2009. A native of Dahlonega, she graduated from Lumpkin County High School with honors in 2004 and grew up living the small town life out in the country in the Appalachian Mountains. Her passions in life are her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, her family, her pets, designing and decorating, photography, gardening, cooking, traveling, missions work, Southern history and culture, writing and blogging, veterinary medicine, dancing and fitness, trips to the beach, and SEC sports. She served as President of the AVMA Auxiliary at UGA, and is now a member at state and national levels. She is also a member of the Christian Veterinary Missions, the Cattlewomen's Association, and the Junior League of Athens, GA.
