Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate Staff Profiles
Dr. Stephanie LantryDr. Lantry, a Wisconsin native, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995 from the University of New Hampshire . She was an Animal Science Major and completed an Honors Thesis in Reproductive Physiology. She then went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She completed her DVM with a thesis on Environmental Toxicology in Sea Turtles. Dr. Lantry then moved to Sarasota in June of 1999 and has worked at the Animal Medical Clinic ever since. She spends her free time with her husband, Mike, two sons, Blake and Parker, and two dogs, Henry and Simone.
Dr. Olga OliverDr. Oliver graduated in 1996 from Murcia University of Spain, where she obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Madrid Spain , but has been in Sarasota since 1997. She has been practicing at our clinic since 2006. She resides in the Siesta Key area with her husband Andy, sons Alex and Nico, and their mini Dachshund, Sofia. Dr. Oliver speaks fluent Spanish.
Dr. Jamie BarclayDr. Barclay was born and grew up in Kansas City,Mo. She graduated from University of Kansas in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Organismal Biology (Go Jayhawks). She got accepted to Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM degree in 2003. She completed a Small Animal Internship specializing in internal medicine and emergency care in Virginia Beach, Va. in 2004. Dr. Barclay moved to Sarasota in 2009 with her husband Kaya and her rescued cat Charlotte. In 2011 they welcomed an adorable little girl named Maya into the family. Dr. Barclay enjoys spending time with her family and loves to travel. She has been doing relief work in the area since 2009 at both Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate and Sarasota Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
