At Caring Hands Animal Hospital you may stay with your pet during all aspects of the office visit and medical treatments. If your pet is hospitalized you are always welcome to visit during hospital hours. If your pet needs to be taken to the treatment room during an appointment, you may come right along with them!

Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Rockville Staff Profiles
Marci Streck, DVMCo-Owner
Dr. Streck, associate veterinarian, graduated from Texas A&M University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She joined Caring Hands Animal Hospital shortly after graduation. She holds specific interests in soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, animal behavior and the human-animal bond. In 2000, she was honored with the PetSmart Human Animal Bond Award for her work with a fledgling student-led service dog organization called Aggie Guide-Dogs and Service Dogs. Outside of work, Dr. Streck competes in agility with her two border collies, leads a Girl Scout troop, and enjoys homesteading. She currently shares her home with her partner and two children, as well as three dogs (Levi, Dash and Whisper), three cats (Cinder, Klondike and Annie), chickens and dairy goats.
Michelle Vitulli, DVMCo-Owner
Dr. Michelle Vitulli, founder and owner of Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Inc in Centreville, Virginia, is a 1991 graduate of Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Vitulli is a co-owner of 5 other Caring Hands locations, Arlington which opened in 2002, Bristow, which opened in 2005, Ashburn which opened in 2007, Alexandria, which opened in 2012, and Merrifield, which opened in 2014. She has interests in cardiology, internal medicine and surgery, and preventive care for senior pets. Dr. Vitulli, and her husband Bob, have three children, Daniel, Julia and Anna, a dog named Harley, and three cats named Dewey, Little Bear, and Aslan.
