Crystal Coyne, LVTLicensed Veterinary Technician
Crystal, a native of upstate New York, attended Herkimer County Community College and the Environmental Science and Forestry School at Syracuse University before graduating with her Veterinary Technician degree from SUNY Canton. Crystal joined Central Animal Hospital 6 years ago and has a special interest in Animal Behavior and Physical Therapy. She, her husband, and their son care for 4 cats, Auggie, Theo, Mattie, and Boogie, and a rescue dog, Sandi, who after multiple surgeries, has been rehabilitated, and is a great addition to the family.
Jeff Polisky, DVMVeterinarian
Jeff Polisky, DVM has been a veterinarian since 1973, graduating from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and completing and internship and surgical residency at the Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital - ASPCA in NYC. A native of Chicago, Dr. Polisky made Thornwood Animal Hospital his home for many years. He has extensive small animal veterinary experience, and many devoted clients. Dr. Polisky enjoys sports of all kinds, including biking, hiking, and kayaking on the Hudson River. He treasures his time with his son, Jacob, and cares for a cat and assorted wildlife.
Alison Abramson (Hasson), VMDVeterinarian
Alison Abramson (Hasson), VMD graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School Veterinary Medicine in 2003, after attending Duke University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in biological anthropology and anatomy, with a certificate in primatology. Dr. Abramson then completed an internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, concentrating on surgery, ophthalmology, oncology and exotics. She joined Central Animal Hospital in 2012 after working at Park East Animal Hospital in New York City. Dr. Abramson is fluent in German, enjoys skiing and tennis, and resides in Scarsdale with her 2 young children, and an Afghan Hound named Redford.
