Meghan Shannon, DVM

Dr. Shannon grew up in Buffalo, NY and received her BS from Cornell University. She graduated with a DVM from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After practicing for 3 years in Melbourne, Florida, she took over Cherry Knolls Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2003. Meghan lives with her husband Zach Howard, who is a professional comic book illustrator. They share their home with their children (dogs) Ronin, Oliver, and Cola. In her spare time she enjoys thinking about what she would do with her spare time, if she had some. Show More

Rachel Lauria, DVM

Born in Denver, Rachel stayed in Colorado to complete two bachelors degrees in Biological Sciences and Microbiology at Colorado State University. Pursuing her love of animals, she earned her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Rachel is thrilled to be part of the Cherry Knolls team! Veterinary Technician
Born and raised in Colorado, Carlena has worked at Cherry Knolls Veterinary Clinic since July of 2009. Before that, she worked at an animal shelter. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three young children, and dog Bruno (a Boston Terrier/Pekingese mix).
