Arthur PantsSupervising Hospital Greeter
You may not see me very often at Carolina Beach Animal Hospital, I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of guy. As some of you may know, I am a three-legged kitty. This does not limit my ability to run around the hospital and direct the rest of the staff. I am pretty happy with my job here, but my biggest "pet" peeve is when the staff dances, ugh! Something about dancing makes me very unhappy and if this is going on around me, I will take my 3 legs elsewhere.
Leslie BensingerClient Care Specialist
Leslie began working in Veterinary Medicine in 1974 in Fort Worth, TX. She started in the kennels and quickly moved into a Veterinary Technician position. She has worked in small animal hospitals in Florida, Nebraska, California and Northern Virginia. Leslie spent 6 years as an Animal Control Officer in New Hampshire. She moved to Wilmington in 2010 and spent a couple years working as a Realtor before coming back to her "roots". She decided it was time to retire from working as a Veterinary Technician (a very physically demanding job) and became a receptionist at the Animal Emergency and Trauma Hospital. She moved to College Road Animal Hospital in February of 2014 to work as the Urgent Care receptionist. Leslie lives in a renovated 1930's bungalow with her 2 Basset Hounds, Clarabelle and Brodie (a rescue), Suzi-Q (a Jack Russell rescue) Cruiser and Topper (rescue cats). She also has a retired 32 year old Quarter Horse named Corrie who now resides in White Post, VA at a rescue and retirement farm.
