Dr. Martin DowneyDVM / Owner
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Owner of Companion Care Animal Hospital. Dr. Downey established Companion Care Animal Hospital in November 2005 as a one doctor practice, it has now grown to a three doctor practice along with an on site grooming facility. Dr. Downey grew up in Guelph, Ontario Canada and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1993. His special interests are all types of surgeries but especially orthopedic surgery, and educating clients on the well being of their pets. Dr. Downey enjoys making every visit a learning experience for the owner as well as the pet, and loves teaching old dogs new tricks. Dr. Downey is married with one child Brayden and they live with their two dogs: Lola and Louis. He enjoys going fishing with his son and visiting his family in Canada.
Dr. Teresa JandaDVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Janda has been with Companion Care Animal Hospital since June 2009. Dr. Janda is originally from Nebraska and graduated from Iowa State University for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests are opthamology, soft tissue surgery, parasitology, entomology and geriatics. Dr. Janda treats each and every one of her patients as if they were one of her own, and enjoys the very special bond that develops between veterinarian, owner, and pet. Dr. Janda is married with one child Olivia, and they share their home with 3 fuzzy felines: Leonard, Purrious Maximous, and Beans and two guinea pigs. She likes reading, movies, and going for bike rides with her family.
Dr. Diana PogorzelskiDVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Pogorzelski has been with Companion Care Animal Hospital since April 2012.
