Dr. Diana Gerardi Scorpio was born in Providence RI, and spent her childhood years in Cranston RI with her family, including her identical twin sister. She is of Italian descent and spent many summers in Italy with relatives and friends. She went to veterinary school at Michigan State University and graduated in May 1997. She then worked in the Detroit area in small animal/exotic clinical practice. After moving to Maryland in 2000, she then pursued an academic career at Johns Hopkins University, where she studied tick-borne infectious diseases of humans and animals. She received her Master in Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins in 2004. She was welcomed to the DocSide family in April 2012. She has a puggle named Peanut and in her free time likes to travel, study winemaking, learn new languages, and spend time with her sister and friends. Her special interests include canine and feline infectious disease and exotic animal medicine.Show More
Dr. Carine Klimentidis
Dr. Klimentidis was born in New York and then moved to Houston, TX where she was raised. She is of French and Greek descent and has spent many summers in France with relatives and friends. She went to veterinary school at Texas A&M University and graduated in May 2004 and was welcomed to the DocSide family in 2005. She has three pets: Riley, Ginger and Simon and in her free time likes to cook, garden, take her dog to the park, and horseback ride. Dr. Deborah Tierney
Dr. Tierney grew up in Baltimore, graduating from the Institute of Notre Dame. She then moved to West Lafayette Indiana where she received both a Bachelors of Agricultural Science degree and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University. She has practiced companion animal medicine in the Baltimore area for over 15 years receiving numerous local and national veterinary awards.Show More
Dr. Irvin Herling
Dr. Herling, a Baltimore native, has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1972. During his 35 year career he has, not only practiced companion animal medicine, but contributed to his profession by serving on the Board of Animal Control, Directing the Veterinary Technician program for the State of Maryland and being a member of the Department of Surgery at Sinai Hospital. Although he enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, he specializes in minimally invasive surgery, imaging, and oral surgery.Show More
