Harpreet Chahal, DVM

Dr. Chahal earned her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) from Punjab Agriculture University (PAU), India. During school, she completed internship in internal medicine of both small and large animals. She joined the Masters of Veterinary Epidemiology program at Punjab Agriculture University and worked/treated various domestic/companion animals dealing with disease epidemics. Later on, she received her Masters in Veterinary Basic Sciences from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and got experience working with various exotics, lab animals and small animals. She has been in Veterinary Medicine since 1996 and in the bay area since 2007. She worked in India and Nebraska also. Her special interest is internal medicine, dermatology and pain management. She lives with her husband and a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading books. Show More
