Opened in 1993, East Bay Animal Hospital is a full service Veterinary facility, caring for animals of South Eastern Massachusetts and the Greater Providence, Rhode Island Area. We are staffed with three highly experienced Veterinarians and many compassionate, skilled Veterinary Technicians. In addition to providing services to the public, we partner with local shelters to promote adoption and affordable spay/neuter programs. We are able to provide both routine and specialty services. Dr. Peter Cournoyer (Owner)Dr. Cournoyer graduated from Boston College in 1984 and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He opened the practice in 1993 and especially enjoys primary care and surgery. He is married with three children and enjoys the family pets; two dogs, two cats, two chickens, and three sheep.

Emmy joined our team in the Spring of 2012. She utilizes her surgical training and degree in Science to assist with our four-legged friends. She has a dog named "Wrek", as well as a new puppy named "Layla".Show More
Dr. Jessica Rizzo BVetMed MRCVSOriginally from Connecticut, Dr. Rizzo earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Roger Williams University. She has worked for a number of years in the veterinary field before studying Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. She graduated with her veterinary degree in 2015. Her areas of interest are surgery, small mammals, and exotics. Outside of work, Dr. Rizzo enjoys spening time with her husband and their two cats, Simba and Zahara, and their dog Cooper. Show More
