Eliot Veterinary Hospital Staff Profiles
Christopher J. Lee DVMVeterinarian and Owner
Dr. Christopher Lee is the founder and owner of the Eliot Veterinary Hospital. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire in 1981 where he earned his bachelor of science degree in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine. After pursuing a master of science degree at the University of New Hampshire, Dr. Lee received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1987 graduating magna cum laude. He also completed an internship in emergency medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Following graduation from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Lee owned and operated the South Berwick Veterinary Hospital for 20 years where he practiced small animal medicine and surgery with special interests in dermatology, ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery and orthopedics.
Outside of the hospital Dr. Lee lives in South Berwick, Maine with his wife of 34 years. He enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with his family, hiking, and physical training. He is especially enamored with his grandchildren and his dog, Boston. Dr. Lee is also an avid fan of all New England sports and he loves spending time at the lake, water sports, the beach, and he occasionally gets out on the golf course.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Maine Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Information Network.
