Samantha Hunt, DVM

Dr.Samantha Hunt was born in Southern California, but grew up here, in Elk Grove. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the University of California at Davis in 2006. Samantha started working in the Veterinary field in 2004 and continued to work as a Veterinary Technician for 7 years until she was accepted into Veterinary School. She also worked in a research lab at UC Davis for several years prior to her acceptance into veterinary school. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis in 2015.

Dr. Hunt’s veterinary interests include: preventative medicine, ophthalmology, internal medicine and behavior. She lives in West Sacramento with her fiancé and three cats (Ricky, Lucy and Nina). Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dancing (especially Latin ballroom), watching movies, and playing sports.

Mohammed Ibrahim, DVM

Dr. Ibrahim graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cairo, Egypt in 1999. For 2 years he was a researcher with the Animal Vaccine and Anti-Serum Research Institute located in Cairo, Egypt. From 2001 to 2011 Dr. Ibrahim was an associate veterinarian at the Advanced Care Vet Clinic in Cairo. Advanced Care Vet Clinic was founded by an American Veterinarian with the goal of introducing quality North American Veterinary medical practices and standards of care. Veterinarians learned the same quality of care you would expect to find in any North American veterinary facility. In 2011 Dr. Ibrahim moved to Sacramento, California to pursue his passion for specialized advanced surgical techniques. He studied under and accompanied multiple Veterinary Medical Board certified surgeons within the Sacramento Valley area. Dr. Ibrahim has a passion for horses. He enjoys riding and European show style jumping.

Nicole Ulhaq, DVM

Dr. Nicole Ulhaq grew up in Southern California where she completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science at California Polytechnic University. She began working in veterinary medicine at a very young age and continued to work in the field through the completion of her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis in 2013. Prior to receiving her DVM, she spent 2 years working with medical devices for human patient’s suffering from respiratory illnesses. Dr. Ulhaq’s areas of special interest include dermatology, internal medicine, radiology, surgery, anesthesia and nutritional counseling. She lives in Davis, California with her husband, daughter and their two dogs and cats. Some of her hobbies include oil painting, running, camping, tending her vegetable garden, and traveling.
