Gansett Animal Hospital, opened in 1965, is a full service Veterinary facility, caring for animals of South Eastern Massachusetts and the Greater Providence, Rhode Island Area. We are staffed with four highly experienced Veterinarians and many compassionate, skilled Veterinary Assistants. In addition to providing services to the public, we partner with local shelters to promote adoption and affordable spay/neuter programs. We are able to provide both routine and specialty services. Gansett Animal Hospital Staff Profiles
Paul has recently joined our team in the summer of 2016. He started his career at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists then decided to settle into general practice. Paul has also earned a Certification in Graphic Arts at RISD and is still pursuing his education. He has 2 cats, 1 dog, a guinea pig and enjoys video games, painting and drawing in his down time. Paul is excited to be the newest member of our team!

Sarah has been with us since June of 2013. She recently earned her bachelors degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding and being outdoors. She has two dogs "Teddy Bear" and "Georgia Belle" as well as a cat "Orange Juice."Show More

Dr. Amy Munson
Dr. Munson graduated in 2008 from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada and has been practicing in RI ever since. She and her husband Chris share their home with 2 "special needs" animals: a three-legged Chihuahua and a one-eyed cat. She also has two large fuzzy dogs and one other "rescue" cat. She recently added two humans to her extensive family as well as a gecko and two beta fish.
