Good Hope Animal Hospital Staff Profiles

Joseph Hauser, VMD

Dr. Hauser attended The Pennsylvania State University as an undergraduate, and received his V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the previous owner of Timberview Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Hauser currently resides on a farm in Dillsburg with his wife, Helene, of forty one years. Together they care for a variety of animals on the farm including two dogs, “Lucy” and “Natty”, several cats, birds, salt water fish, six horses, and a turtle. Besides caring for the farm, Dr. Hauser enjoys ballroom dancing, traveling in Central America, and deep sea fishing. Show More

Sara Michler, DVM

Dr. Michler graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College. She then went on to the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine to earn her DVM. In January 2008, Dr. Michler joined as a full time doctor at the Good Hope Animal Hospital. Dr. Michler’s special interests include internal medicine, radiology, and pain management. When she is not at work, Dr. Michler enjoys spending time with her two cats, “Athena” and “Orion”, her dog, “Linus”, her daughter, her son, and her husband, Tim. Show More

Mason Simmons, DVM

Dr. Simmons grew up in Memphis Tennessee. He then moved to Florida and received an Animal Science degree from the University of Florida. He attended St. Matthew’s Veterinary School and completed his studies in 2009. Before moving to Pennsylvania, Dr. Simmons worked in private practice for 4 years on the Florida panhandle. His other interests include kayaking, hiking, camping, photography, and watching Gator athletics. Show More
