Dr. Sara Virgil

Dr. Sara graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2014. Originally from Albany, New York, she earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University. Dr. Sara moved to Raleigh for veterinary school, fell in love with the area, and decided to make it her permanent home. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include dermatology, internal medicine, pain management, and companion exotic animal medicine.

She lives in Cary with her fur family that includes two mixed breed dogs (Jazzy & Rocky) and two Maine Coon cats (Simba & Amelia). Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, wildlife observation, and trips to the beach.

Dr. Bonnie Ammerman

Dr. Bonnie Ammerman graduated from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She and Dr. Pat Pagel opened Hill Creek Veterinary Hospital in 1998. Her medical interests include small animal internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, client and staff education, and a holistic and realistic approach to therapy. Her hobbies include horseback (trail) riding, gardening, and stained glass work. Dr. Ammerman lives in Siler City. She has 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses.

Stephanie Clark

Registered Vet Tech & Practice Manager
Stephanie lives on a small farm in Chatham County with her husband, Mark, and their two sons, Chris & Seth. Her work experience includes both large and small animal medicine, shelter medicine and rescue work. Stephanie is a graduate of the Veterinary Medical Technology program at CCCC and also has a BS in Veterinary Medical Technology from Campbell University. In 2002 she completed a certification program in Canine Massage Therapy at the Boulder College of Massage in Boulder, CO. She has trained and competed in both canine agility and conformation with her Italian Greyhounds and in 2003 founded an Italian Greyhound rescue organization. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys horseback riding & boating with her family.
