Dr. James K. Hilliard, Jr.Veterinarian
Dr. Hilliard is the owner of Houston Veterinary Clinic and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 39 years. A graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, he is pleased to provide high quality small animal care in the only AAHA certified animal hospital in Houston County. Dr. Hilliard grew up on a dairy farm in Mitchell County and was surrounded by animals of all types during his youth. He is an avid fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, and boasts having visited every stadium in the SEC. He is married to his wife Barbara and is the father of three adult children and grandfather to two young grandsons.
Dr. Knox HilliardVeterinarian
Knox has worked at Houston Veterinary Clinic throughout the summers during high school (Warner Robins High School class of 2006) and college and started as a full time associate veterinarian in June 2015. He graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Georgia in 2010 and from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine with a D.V.M. in 2014. He completed a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship after graduating in 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee prior to returning back home to the family practice. He and his wife Catherine own three dogs and are the proud parents of a toddler named Jake.
