My best friend Mittens, a grey tabby, inspired me to become a Veterinarian around the age of nine. Mittens was a fighter and needed care for his wounds regularly. I began working at a Veterinary Hospital in high school to begin the path to fulfill my dream of becoming a Veterinarian.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1994. I have held several positions as an Associate Veterinarian and also worked as a research Veterinarian in Charleston, South Carolina. I arrived at Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic in July of 2000. It's the best place I've worked in my 15 plus years as a Veterinarian.

Resa Meinholdt
Office Manager Hello! I am so happy to be a member of the wonderful staff here at JLRAC, supporting the doctors and team members as they care for our clients’ animal companions! Having grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, a hamster, and a rabbit, life seems a bit incomplete without a pet at the moment. But, our JLRAC clinic “host” kitties, Ruth, (Dr. Thompson’s sweet dog), and our animal patients help fill the “empty nest”. My working background is mostly comprised of 18 plus years of office management in specialty medical practices in Austin and Dallas, plus support staff positions in medical/dental since 1976. I am thankful everyday for knowledge I have gained thus far and the opportunity to work and learn among the caring staff in this well established, dedicated, and passionate veterinary practice. I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania where animals were a large part of my life. However it wasn’t until high school that I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in 1989 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1993. Very early in my veterinary school days I realized that, although horses are what brought me into this profession, dogs and cats are my passion to treat as a veterinarian.
After graduation I married, moved to Arlington and in May of 1994, I found my home here at Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic. Being able to help you and your pets brings me fulfillment every day. I value most the relationships we have built over the years and look forward to the new ones to come.
I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association. I also am very proud to have Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic be certified as an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) hospital. Maintaining this distinction and level of practice is very important to me.
My personal life includes a wonderful husband, Wayne, our children Thomas, Gavin, Dakota, Nicole, and Serenity, two dogs, three cats, and Jasmine my horse. In my free time I love reading, riding and taking care of my family. The clinic is my pride and joy and I am blessed to have such wonderful staff members and clients.
