Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic Staff Profiles
Dr. Jonathan Kindred, DVMDr Josh Kindred is the owner and medical director of Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic. He grew up not far away in DeLand, FL where his parent both worked as professors at Stetson University. He was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stetson University in 1994 and went on to attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville. After graduating vet school in May of 2000 he moved to Atlanta and worked as an associate veterinarian at a busy 8 doctor practice. He spent several years there gaining experience until he decided to 2004 to look for a practice that allowed a more personal and consistent doctor-patient relationship.
Dr Kindred has owned and operated Kindred Spirits Animal Clinic since September, 2004. He says that he is “very happy” with his decisions to become a practice owner and couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.
Dr Kindred recently married Stephanie Badge, another graduate of University of Florida’s Veterinary School. “We have a great relationship and it has also been an enormous benefit for both of us in term of practicing quality medicine. We talk about cases all the time and her input often proves invaluable.” The Kindred’s family is always expanding. They welcomed baby Harper in May of 2014 which has added to their current 4 legged family of 7 dogs and 4 cats. Show More
