Jim Prior

Hospital Administrator
Jim is our Hospital Manager. He keeps all the bells and whistles of our hospital going.

Jim and Dr. Prior have had animal hospitals in other parts of the country. We are happy that they settled in Cody, WY and created a wonderful place to work and care for animals.  Jim majored in music and is also a student of foreign languages. When he isn’t working he enjoys listening to music, spending time with his children.

Jim recently became the new owner of Wyogurt and looks forward to the new adventure ahead.

Tessa Schmidt

Certified Veterinary Technician  
Tessa served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. After serving her country she became passionate about taking on a career as a Veterinary Technician.

Tessa joined us in September 2014 while on externship for her Veterinary Technician degree. She received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in October 2014, and became a full time employee with us in November 2014. She became a CVT  in April 2015. She is also the Secretary for the Wyoming Veterinary Technician Association.

Even though she loves to work with us in a small animal practice her true calling is equine. She is certified as an equine technician and is the emergency on call technician for Rocky Mountain Equine Hospital. She spends her free time with her family, riding horses, hunting, fishing, and donating her time to the local VFW Post.

Kathy Snyder

Receptionist
Kathy started at Lifetime Small Animal Hospital in July 2015. She is one of the friendly ladies that greats you as you walk in the front door. She has a large heart for animals and fits perfectly in the Lifetime Small Animal Hospital family

Kathy is originally from Texas but now calls Wyoming home. She has 2 Australian Shepherds and one Mastiff. Some of her hobbies are reading, sewing, and spending time with her family. She may be from Texas but she has fallen in love with our beautiful Wyoming views.
