Mobile Animal Clinic Staff Profiles

Dr. Kati Asherin

DVM
Dr. Kati Asherin was born and raised right here in Omaha, Nebraska.  She followed her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian by attending and graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. 

Dr. Asherin has a Great Dane at home named Layla, and holds a special space in her heart for giant breeds.  Her other interests include dermatology, internal medicine and “pocket pets”.

Dr. Whitney Meyer

DVM
Dr. Whitney Meyer, a native of Kearney, Nebraska, joined Mobile Animal Clinic in October of 2013.  She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University College of Medicine in 2010.  She has previously worked in a mixed animal practice in Nebraska and a small animal practice in Oregon.

Dr. Meyer’s interests include preventive medicine and surgery.

Along with being an excellent general surgeon, Dr. Meyer has had special orthopedic training in procedures such as TPLO for the repair of ACL tear and rupture.

Dr. Jordan Nickerson

DVM
Dr. Jordan Nickerson was born and raised in Omaha.  After earning his Bachelor of Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with his DVM degree in 2011.  After graduation, he worked at a small animal practice in North Carolina before joining Mobile Animal Clinic in 2014.

Dr. Nickerson’s interests include Behavioral Medicine, Nutrition, Internal Medicine and Surgery.
