North Veterinary Clinic Staff Profiles
Catherine North, DVMVeterinarian / Owner
Dr. North established North Veterinary Clinic in 1994 to provide personalized health care to area pets. A native New Englander, Dr. North graduated from Michigan State University in 1983. After spending several years in mixed animal practice in Michigan, she and her family moved to Connecticut. Dr. North and her family share their home with dogs, cats, horses, sheep, and chickens, many of which are "second chance rescues." Says Dr. North: "Animals are my passion, both home and at work. They have enriched my life in so many ways."

Samantha joined North Veterinary Clinic in 2009. Samantha's animal career began as she was a young adult, working at boarding kennels and supervising doggy daycares. After earning her associates degree in animal care from Becker College in 2008, she began working as an animal control officer. Samantha prides herself in helping pet owners understand the treatments and medications prescribed for their pet. She also holds a special place in her heart for rescued and unsocialized pets. In Samantha's free time she enjoys caring for and spending time with her daughter and her own pets a Chihuahua/corgi cross, three rescue cats, and ferret.
Katherine Cerulli, DVM
Associate VeterinarianDr. Cerulli was born and raised in Staatsburg, NY. She graduated the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Animal Science and a minor in Dairy Science in 2006. She earned her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts. Dr. Cerulli joined North Veterinary Clinic in September of 2016. She has greatly enjoyed meeting the clients and patients of North Vet. Her special interest is behavior, especially working with rescue dogs. Dr. C finds it very rewarding working through problems and finding solutions for both dogs and cats who need a little extra love and attention. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dogs Charlie and Belle, and volunteering with a local rescue group. Her other hobbies include: outdoor photography, DIY crafts, and spending time with her family. Show More
