All of our knowledgeable veterinarians are members of the Southeastern Michigan Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Licensed Veterinary Technicians
We are proud to employ three skilled, experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians (L.V.T.'s). These valuable team members have been trained in American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited degree programs and have passed a credentialing exam. The Michigan Department of Community Health requires applicants to pass both the Professional Examination Service (PES) National Exam and the Michigan Practical Exam prior to licensure.
Our technicians assist both clients and doctors by collecting blood samples, running laboratory tests, monitoring anesthetized patients, performing dental prophylaxis, taking digital x-rays, restraining animals, and client education. Our technicians also see appointments for suture removal, expressing anal glands, trimming nails, and administering subcutaneous fluid therapy.
