Severna Park Veterinary Hospital was established in 1974 and is currently owned by Dr. Jessica Heard. We are current members of the Severna Park Chamber of Commerce and are dedicated to helping your beloved pets.

Severna Park Veterinary Hospital Staff Profiles
Cindy has over 10 years experience as a veterinary nurse and has a special interest in animal dentistry. She especially loves small dogs and cats. She lives locally with her dogs Raven and Harley, her Cockatoo Rocky and her cat Nubbins.
Carolyn has been with SPVH since 2006 and has worked in the veterinary field since 2002. She has two birds, one is a Pionous named Penny and a Senegal named Beanie. She also has two adorable dogs Stewie and Max.
Dr. Lisa Perez
Dr. Lisa Perez is originally from Olney, Maryland. She attended the University of Maryland, College Park for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Avian Sciences. She earned her veterinary degree at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Shortly after graduation, she completed a one year rotating Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship in Greensboro, North Carolina. After this, she worked at a mixed animal practice that treated small animals, pocket pets, and exotic pets in Richmond, VA, before joining the Severna Park Veterinary Hospital team.
Dr. Perez’s professional interests include internal medicine, dentistry, cytology, pocket pet and exotic animal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasonography. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Maryland Veterinary Medicine Association.
In her free time, Dr. Perez enjoys hiking, photography, horse-back riding, reading, and spending time with family. She currently has a few pets, a mischievous DSH/Siamese mix named, Mr. Reno Renegade, and Betta fish.
