Monique Jones, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Jones was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her love of animals grew from having hamsters, a rabbit, and a dog as a child. She attended the University of California, Davis for her undergraduate degree while working part-time as a veterinary technician, then Tuskegee University for her veterinary degree.

After graduating, she completed a one-year general practice internship, which included experience with overnight emergency medicine. Her love and care for pets since childhood gives her an appreciation for pets as extended members of the family. She looks forward to providing the most sensitive and professional care to clients and their pets.

Robert Brooks, DVM

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Brooks grew up in southern England before moving to Connecticut. After attending college in upstate New York, Dr. Brooks spent a year in North Carolina, then moved to Scotland to attend veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh. After graduation, he moved to San Diego to enjoy a change in weather and have the opportunity to enjoy the region’s excellent hiking and mountain biking trails.  Dr. Brooks has a python named Nyoka and looks forward to expanding his pet family once he settles in to his new home.

Alison Jensen, DVM, MBA

Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Jensen began volunteering in the veterinary field at the age of 8 and worked her way up through the ranks beginning with cleaning kennels. After graduating from WSU College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Cougs!) in 2007, she completed intensive training in an elective small animal internship, rotating through specialties such as surgery, oncology, and emergency medicine in Sacramento and Phoenix. She then returned to the Seattle area to practiced emergency-exclusive medicine and surgery for 4 years. Her husband was transferred to the Army Baylor Campus at Fort Sam Houston, so she took a year off to join him and earn a Masters in Business Administration before moving to the San Diego area. She is loved by her 2 Great Danes, James & Tanq, a little Jack Russell named E.D. (for Extra Dog...a foster that she never let go of), and Stoli the cat.
