Daniel is originally from California. Daniel served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He has been working with dogs and cats since 1998. Daniel has one a cat of his own – Jenny. He loves relaxing in his spare time, and enjoying his favorite movie, the original Dr. Dolittle.
Kimberly was born in the Republic of Panama where she grew up and graduated from High School. She subsequently went to Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama where she majored in Biology and Environmental Sciences.
Kimberly has always loved animals and been interested in their welfare from a very young age. After college she moved to Baltimore where she worked in the ecological field for a while, and since the year 2000 has been working in the field of Veterinary Medicine. She decided she was not shoveling anymore snow and left the Animal Welfare Society of Howard County, Maryland, where she was surgical technician and pet adoption counselor, and moved to Florida.
Kimberly is the proud owner of two dogs - Luna and Soleil.
Dr. Elizabeth Rosainz, DVMVeterinarian
Dr. Rosainz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida International University
in May 2005. Later that year, after her own dog was injured following Hurricane
Wilma, she renewed her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. She
completed course work in biology for two years at FIU and began veterinary
school at St. George’s University in Grenada in 2008. After one year
studying in the Caribbean she transferred to Oklahoma State
University and received
her D.V.M degree in May 2012. Dr. Rosainz completed a 13 month internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital
in small animal medicine, general practice, surgery and emergency medicine. She
joined Aventura Animal Hospital
in August 2013 to help launch their new urgent care and emergency service. Her
main areas of interest include small animal medicine, ophthalmology, soft
tissue surgery, and emergency medicine.In her spare time Dr. Rosainz enjoys various forms of
exercise including running, yoga and mountain biking. As a south Florida native, she loves spending time outdoors and at
the beach with family and friends or at home with her foster cat Clyde.
