Totten K. Warfield, Jr., DVM

Dr. T.K. Warfield, a native Tucsonan, has been affiliated with Valley Animal Hospital for over 30 years. He became an associate of the hospital in 1975 after graduating from Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He attended the University of Arizona for his undergraduate degree. Go Cats!

Dr. Warfield's practice has a strong focus on joint disease, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. He serves as the primary veterinarian for several law enforcement canine units.

As an active community leader, Dr. Warfield has been a member of The Centurions for many years and has served on various boards throughout his career. Dr. Warfield enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family. He and his wife, Donna, are spending every available moment spoiling their grandchildren.

Washington State University

John D. Vagnetti, Jr., DVM

Dr. Vagnetti was inspired to become a veterinarian as a youngster while visiting his cousin's veterinary clinic. As he watched a litter of puppies being delivered by c-section, he decided to pursue veterinary medicine.

Following graduation in 1983 from Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Vagnetti left the Great Lakes, trees, and snow to begin his career at Valley Animal Hospital. Dr. Vagnetti's professional interests include reptile medicine and small mammal medicine.

Dr. Vagnetti enjoys traveling, fishing, scuba diving, and reading. He and his wife, Alpha, include their two dogs in many of their outdoor adventures.

Michigan State University

Blake A. Herrington, DVM

Following a four year tour in the U.S. Air Force, Dr. Herrington earned his B.S. degree in Cellular and Developmental Biology in 1982 from the University of Arizona. He received his D.V.M. in 1993 from Colorado State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Herrington joined Valley Animal Hospital in June of 1993. His service provides small animal medicine and surgery, with a focus on gastroenterology and avian medicine and surgery.

Dr. Herrington stays busy raising his children and caring for their many and various pets. He enjoys home improvement projects, bicycling, bagpipe playing, as well as traveling.
