We at Willowdale Veterinary Center are dedicated to providing the highest quality pet health care to our patients and their families by combining a modern well-equipped veterinary facility and compassionate professional staff with the old-fashioned idea of service and dependability.

Willowdale demonstrates its commitment to quality care by its continued membership and accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. As a member of AAHA since 1988, we at the Willowdale Veterinary Center are dedicated to providing excellence in small animal care. Our hospital is evaluated regularly by AAHA to ensure that we meet or exceed their association’s high quality standards of excellence. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging and anesthesiology. Fewer than 15% of animal hospitals in North American are accredited by AAHA, which is recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.

In conjunction with Schering Plough Animal Health Corporation, Willowdale invites you to visit www.willowdalevets.myvetonline.com and learn more about many pet health care concerns.

During your visit to Willowdale you may want to take additional time to enjoy the murals on the walls throughout the entire hospital. We are very proud to show them off. They were painted by a special friend of the practice.

Willowdale Veterinary Center Staff Profiles

Dr. Carolyn Gimble

Dr. Gimble has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl. After working for ten years as a kennel assistant, veterinary assistant and veterinary technician (including time here at Willowdale in 2002-2003 while in highschool), she decided to pursue her career as a veterinarian. She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies and graduated in 2007 with a BS in animal science. She completed veterinary school at Oklahoma State University in 2014. She rejoined Willowdale as a veterinarian in 2016. Dr. Gimble loves all animals big and small! She has six dogs, six cats, five horses and a bird! She shares these companions with her husband on a small farm where her free time is often spent outdoors fishing and gardening. She also loves a lengthy trail ride, a trip to any Florida springs and a good Gator football game. Go Gators! Show More
