Betty White and her dog

Everyone's favorite animal-loving comedienne, Betty White, will do anything to help end canine cancer. Anything. (Well, almost anything.) She's teamed up with Orvis to promote the company's Cover Dog Contest, benefiting Morris Animal Foundation's Canine Cancer Campaign, which aims to cure canine cancer within the next 10 to 20 years.

The video — which, for the record, cracked us right up — features White trying to take a photo of her dog, Buck, to submit to the Orvis Cover Dog Contest, with predictably awful results. Boy, can we ever sympathize with the difficulties of getting a good pet photo! She doesn't let a few challenges get her down, though, and neither should you.

If you think you can take a better picture than Betty can, submit it here (it takes only a second) and then encourage your friends and family to vote. Votes cost $1, which is how Orvis customers have raised more than $200,000. You can log in and vote for a friend's dog (or just your favorite canine cutie) through the Donate and Vote tab on Orvis' website. Winning photos will be on the cover of the next Orvis Dog catalog. Plus, winners will receive $500 Orvis gift cards.
